In addition to being an advanced practitioner of hypnotherapy, Sleep and Stress Consultant, and BLAST trauma therapist, I've over 30 years’ experience as a teacher, mentor, coach, and trainer, helping people reach their goals and unlock their potential.

My ability to listen actively and read individuals provides a thorough grounding in understanding human emotions and behaviour, which complements my knowledge of neuroscience and training as a clinical hypnotherapist.

Navigating childhood bereavement and my own struggles with sleep, stress and anxiety over the years, I found hypnotherapy was the solution I did not know existed.
I want to share the transformative healing power of hypnotherapy with you.

Professional Credentials
Therapeutic and holistic training: I am a fully qualified and insured advanced hypnotherapy practitioner, registered with the General Register of Hypnotherapists, (GHR), the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Additional qualifications include a Diploma in Stress Management and Resilience Building approved by the International Stress Management Association (ISMA), certification as a sleep consultant with additional training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, (CBT). I am also a qualified BLAST technique® practitioner, offering fast and effective therapy to resolve trauma and PTSD. I draw on my experience as an antenatal educator, perinatal and children’s yoga teacher and trainer, applying my knowledge and understanding of facilitating deep and healing relaxation, ideal to promote stress relief and effective hypnosis for change.

I am a member of the internationally renowned Sheila Granger Hypnosis Growth Club, a network of highly qualified peers across the UK, USA and Australia, with additional specialist qualifications as a Hypnomenopause ® practitioner and in delivering world renowned Virtual Gastric Band therapy for weight loss.
I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and abide by all my professional associations’ ethical codes with commitment to continued professional development and regular supervision.
Education, Medical and Corporate fields: Qualifications and experience in the field of education include a Master’s degree and award of the founding fellowship of the Chartered College of Teachers for services to education.
As a seasoned teacher educator, I have trained other professionals at all career stages, facilitating in-person professional development the UK and USA, and providing online training for teachers globally. I used this experience to devise
The Educator’s Mindset Solution Programme, supporting teachers with stress management to sustain healthy, enduring careers. The success of these sessions led to the innovative Workplace Wellbeing Solution and
The Medics’ Mindset Solution Programmes, which are tailored for corporate and medical settings.

Charitable work:
I provide bi-monthly hypnotherapy for sleep and stress management sessions for staff and visitors at Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre in Cambridge. Keep in touch to see other fund-raising events during the year for this fantastic cause, which is close to my heart.
